Women are very familiar with vaginal yeast infections. They have also often heard of babies having thrush. Thrush is a yeast infection of the baby’s mouth that it will often spread to the nipple. What most women are not familiar with is the (quite painful) yeast infection of that breast and that both mom and baby need to be treated.
